• ALL Illustrator files MUST be saved as Illustrator CS (or lower) EPS files. Rocket does not accept native Illustrator format files (.ai) or Illustrator CS2 files. In Illustrator CS2, this option has moved back from "Export..." to "Save As." Go to File, Save As, and select .eps. When the EPS Options dialog box opens, click the Version drop down menu and choose Illustrator CS EPS.

• ALL fonts must be converted to outlines. SELECT All [Command-A], then go to TYPE menu and select Create Outlines [Shift-Command-O]. You should also run the cleanup function to eliminate any hidden spaces or stray points. SELECT menu, Object, Stray Points and Text Objects.

• When embedding bitmap images, it is imperative that they are the correct resolution and CMYK color mode.

• Please make sure your page size corresponds to the size of the postcard that you are ordering.

• Please do not use the transparency feature, particularly any transparency involving gradients or over bitmap images in Illustrator 9. The resulting postscript file from AI9 will be unusable.

• If you are using black type over a colored background in Illustrator or Freehand, please set the type to overprint. NEVER set white type to overprint. It can cause elements to disappear on press.
